FUNDING AND GRANTS RECEIVED
We have this year been very successful in our grant and funding applications. Committee members have worked hard applying for money which in turn improves the outcomes and experiences for your children.
As learning changes and new regulations come in, we continuously find ourselves needing to purchase or update new equipment. One such thing is a canopy across the front of the building, offering shade and shelter.
Copdock and Washbrook Parish Council very generously gave the preschool £1,000 towards a new canopy.
We also submitted a Business Plan and application (thank you to Tracey), to apply for Quality Access and Inclusion Funding from the local authority. This application was successful and we were awarded £6,688 towards purchasing the new playhouse and the canopy. The canopy is due to be erected in October this year, subject to planning permission.
Thanks also need to go to Ann Hurst who was successful in her application for funding from Babergh for our wildlife area, over £500 was received.
Kathy Pollard, our local councillor gave the Preschool £800 for new computers. Thank you Kathy. Donna did a great job in sourcing the computers and installing them - thank you Donna.
